If there are no awards connected to your chosen program, select OPEN as your program.  Many donor awards are completely open to all programs at the college or to programs in a specific Faculty or School.

Type of Awards:
General – can be applied for through the Scholarships and Bursaries Application.
Faculty – cannot be applied for as they are determined by Mohawk College professors in the winter semester.
Entrance – cannot be applied for as they are determined by our Admissions department for new students.

Eligibility: Students may qualify for the bursary by participating in the Access Program at Mohawk College, by living in areas identified as disadvantaged inner-city or rural neighbourhoods (such as those highlighted in the Code Red reports), or those who are deemed to meet the spirit of these criteria but may live in other jurisdictions. Students may also qualify for the bursary by holding Crown Ward status. Financial Need (per OSAP eligibility guidelines), Ontario Resident for 12 consecutive months prior to start, Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or Protected Person.
